IU expresses her opinion on trot music.
In KBS 2’s 2011 KBS Trot Festival that aired on December 29, the “idol” singers including the Wonder Girls, Boyfriend, IU, and T-ara expressed their thought on trot music.
IU attracted attention by saying, “Trot is good at brightening up the atmosphere, so I think it’s the best song if you want to have fun. It doubles the effect (in brightening up the mood) than any other dance songs,” praising trot music.
The festival was hosted by Lim Sung Hoon and Jang Yoon Sung and the performers include Hyun Chul, Song Dae Kwan, Tae Jin Ah, Seol Woon Do, Kim Yeon Ja, Choo Hyun Mi, Hyun Sook, Moon Hee Ok, Choi Jin Hee, Bae Il Ho, Choi Yoo Na, Lee Ja Yeon, Jo Hang Jo, Kim Yong Im, Lee Hye Ri, Park Yoon Kyeong, Kim Hye Yeon, Park Sang Chul, Park Hyun Bin, and Wink.
